While government and others in power continue to ‘dither and delay’ in their response to the climate and ecological emergency XRL are here with help and advice on how to green your life!

Banking and the financial sector are huge financial contributors to the climate and ecological emergency, bankrolling a who’s who of the worst polluters on the planet. Meeting the targets of the Paris Agreement means completely restructuring their portfolios and investment strategies. Not only are they not acting now but they’ve actively increased investment, pouring $2.7 trillion (£2.2 trillion) into the fossil fuel industry since the Paris Agreement was signed.

Energy generation is another significant contributor to our planetary emergency. While we have excellent renewable capabilities in the UK we are still approving fossil fuel projects abroad and in the UK and are choosing to remain dependent on gas for the foreseeable future.

XR is always on the lookout for ways to bring this into the public consciousness and hold these climate criminals to account. To find out how you can get involved join a WhatsApp or Telegram chat from our Connect page. For ways that you can act now and make small but important changes to your life then check out our resources below. If enough of us make these small changes it will send a big message to government and business.
