Working groups are different from other groups in that they will not only discuss their given topic but will organise meetings and think up new actions or facilitate the internal running of XR Lambeth. XRL Political Circle & Citizens’ Assembly
This group is all about politicians and political developments that we should engage with as well as planning for a citizen's assembly in Lambeth. This is also the place to hear about and discuss other political campaigns that rebels might like to help.
XRL Engaging Communities
This group engages with residents and communities in Lambeth to ensure our movement is as broad and representative as possible.
XRL Art Group
A group for anyone who would like to unleash their creative energy on the rebellion! Plan & share ideas for art meet-ups, workshops, maker moments & share what you've made. Anything from banners, subverts and screen-printed clothes to paintings, paper boats, costumes & sculptures are welcome. Your imagination is the limit Art folks.
XRL Art Blockers
Please join to print flags, clothes (including upcycling) patches, bags etc. This is central to XR - the logo, XR branding and we are hoping to create à large team of blockers who can skill others at actions etc. It is hugely popular and fun and you don’t have to be an artist to block!
XRL Arrestee Support
OThis group helps to organise Arrestee Support for Rebels local or being held in custody in Lambeth. Arrestee Support can happen at the police station, at the court or just being a listening ear to a Rebel going through the court system. This group is looking for a Coordinator - please get in touch if you are interested in taking on this role!
XRL gardeners
If you want to get involved in some rebel gardening around Lambeth then join this group! We have a beautiful community space in Somerleyton Road near Brixton station, check it out if you’re nearby.
