🔒 South London is getting ready for rebellion!
Local groups from South of the river are meeting up online for the second time this year to discuss what we’ve been up to and how we can support each other during the April rebellion.

🎙️ People & Planet, not Profit – Lambeth Rally
Come hear from and discuss with groups campaigning around transport, housing, food waste, air pollution and workers’ rights in Lambeth, organised by XR Lambeth. A rally to remind the Council of the Climate Emergency they declared in 2019, that we are watching for their upcoming Climate Action Plan and will hold them to account on their duty to protect residents from the Cliate and Ecological Emergency and the resulting social injustice.

🌱XRL at West Norwood’s Green Fest
Come along this Saturday to the West Norwood Green Fair and
say hi! We’ll have an XR stall with lots of leaflets and info and would
love to have a chat with you about everything going on in XR Lambeth
and what might be the best way for you to get involved.
Or if you can volunteer a couple hours to man the stall or help set
up/pack down then that would be really appreciated also! Message

💧World Water Day Sunday action
With Shell being located in our borough, we like to pay them a regular visit to remind them of their numerous crimes, be they on land or water. After a successful Coastal Rebellion event, we are back with the same crew to put Shell on trial in advance of Word Water Day on the 22nd. Expect drumming, dancing, acting, and much more family-friendly fun.

👥 In-person General Meeting: Rebellion prep!
XRUK’s rebellion is less than 4 weeks away and all local groups are gearing up for action. Our next General Meeting is the best place to come and meet other keen new and old rebels, find out useful info and share ideas to make this Inevitable Rebellion a success.
